STUDENT Welcome
Welcome to Mercer County Community College. At Mercer, academic excellence, quality services, and student support are keys to success.
Student support includes staff who are willing to assist in achieving your academic and personal goals and faculty who are well prepared to teach you while you learn through current approaches to course content. Licensed counselors, student advocates and student success coaches support students with issues related to classes and other areas of students’ lives. Our tutors offer guided assistance for many courses and our technologically supported library opens access to resources and materials for study and assignment completion.
We recognize that college students need opportunities for social interaction too. The Student Government Association (SGA), honor societies, student clubs, athletics and the Student Life office offer programs for meeting new acquaintances, participating in leadership opportunities and working as a part of a team on community service projects.
And for life after Mercer, our Career Services office assists with finding jobs and transferring to four-year colleges and universities. More than half of MCCC students transfer after graduation. Others find good jobs in areas such as business, culinary arts, health care, computers and technology.
With a plan and direction, Mercer is the path to college completion and a positive future. Choosing Mercer was a wonderful step into a positive future.
