The Mercer County Symphonic Band is a college organization of high-caliber instrumentalists who contribute their talents to provide musical entertainment for college functions and various other occasions throughout the greater Mercer County area. Membership is open to all area residents who are experienced concert band instrumentalists. Performances include traditional concert band music as well as popular and show music.
The Mercer County Symphonic Band has something great in store for the youngsters: "Music, Maestro, Please!" -- an all-new, hands-on, audience interactive kids concert at the Kelsey Theatre where everyone gets to sing and play instruments and learn a little bit about music and musical instruments all at the same time.
Founded in 1981, the Mercer Dance Ensemble is the performing troupe of the college's dance program. The Ensemble presents dance concerts at the West Windsor Campus each year and tours area junior and senior high schools, clubs, and colleges to perform lecture/demonstrations, master classes, and concerts.
