TWO OPTIONS for those wishing to take courses at MCCC while still enrolled in high school or homeschooled.
Must be at least 16 years of age or have completed 10th grade.
MCCC Jumpstart Program   OPTION details

 

 1  Apply to MCCC


 2  Complete the "Concurrent High School" Registration Form

  • Complete and return Registration form through email to admiss@mccc.edu, including a copy of your high school transcript and SAT/ACT test scores if applicable.
  • Be sure to indicate the desired MCCC course, section number, and course title on the Registration form.
  • Provide parent/guardian signature on Registration form.
  • Provide high school counselor approval on Registration form.

 3  Pay Tuition

Dual Enrollment   OPTION details

 

 1  Meet With Your High School Counselor

  • Check with your high school to determine what dual enrollment courses are approved to be offered to your high school and the qualifications needed to enroll.

 2  Apply to MCCC


 3  Document Submission and Registration

  • The high school will provide MCCC with the student’s transcripts, test scores if applicable, and update MCCC representative with information for the student’s registration.
  • MCCC representative will inform high school guidance counselor when students have been registered.
  • Students should check their MyMercer student portal for registration confirmation. (Students cannot register for dual enrollment classes on their own.)
