We are pleased that you have decided to apply to Mercer County Community College. These instructions will help you with this easy process.

S t e p s   t o   E n r o l l

1 > APPLY TO MCCC

  • Complete the   online Application for Admission
  • Request that your high school send final official copies of your transcript, showing proof of graduation, to admiss@mccc.edu or by mail to:

    In addition, if you attended any other colleges, please submit official transcripts to the address above.
  • Request proof of immunization from your physician. Email to immunization@mccc.edu
    • New Jersey State Law requires that each student intending to attend Mercer full-time must submit an Immunization Record signed by his/her physician, indicating that he/she has received two live doses of MMR (Mumps/ Measles/ Rubella), Hepatitis B and 1 dose of MenB (Meningococcal disease) or 2 doses of MenACWY (Meningococcal disease)

2 > APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID and SCHOLARSHIPS

3 > DETERMINE COLLEGE PLACEMENT

Exemptions from the placement test include:
  • A score of 450 or higher on the Evidence Based Reading and Writing (ERW) SAT exempts you from the English portion of the placement test
  • A score of 22 or higher on the Reading section of the ACT exempts you from the English portion of the placement test
  • Transcript evidence of a degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Transcript evidence of college-level English

4 > REGISTER FOR CLASSES

  • Email registration@mccc.edu to be connected with an Intake Advisor to schedule an appointment for course registration. Be sure to include your full name, student ID #, and enter the subject as Intake Advisement.
  • Visit OneStop to meet with an Intake Advisor for course registration. Please have a copy of your high school transcript available to review with the advisor.

5 > PAY TUITION

Pay all tuition and fees by required dates or apply for financial aid.
