Online Registration

Continuing and returning students can register and pay online through the MyMercer portal.

Messages You May Receive and How to Address Them

MESSAGE:

"Do you want to be put on a waitlist for this section?"

If you get this message you have the opportunity to place yourself on a waitlist for a class that is currently full. If a seat opens up, the first person on the waitlist will be sent an email through their MyMercer portal account that they have 24 hours to register for the class either online or in person. If you do not register within that time period your permission is cancelled and the next person on the waitlist will be offered the seat.

Overrides into full classes from instructors are no longer accepted.


MESSAGE:

"You do not have the pre- or co-requisites for this class."

If you get this message, see an advisor to make sure you have passed the courses you need to qualify for the class you want. You must provide documentation from an instructor or advisor showing the staff member who registers you that they can override you into the class.

You can still waitlist yourself for a class requiring prerequisites but if a seat opens up, you will still be blocked from registering for the open seat until you provide documentation that you have satisfied the prerequisites for that class.


MESSAGE:

"This class requires a petition for registration."

You must see an advisor to register for this class. Advisors can be found in the Enrollment Services area.

Fax Registration

To register by FAX, during regular in person registration hours, call (609) 570-3861 for CREDIT courses or (609) 570-3883 for NON-CREDIT courses. Have your VISA or MasterCard ready.

You can print a registration form for credit courses or noncredit courses. NOTE: Use "Print Preview" first, to ensure that the form will print properly. You may need to adjust to smaller fonts in order to make the form fit your printer.


Mail-In Registration

To register by mail for CREDIT courses, use the form included in the publication of course listings mailed county-wide before each semester. Or, you can print a form. View and Plan Your Progress Toward Your Degree

To see and plan how you are progressing toward completing your degree in your major, log into your MyMercer student portal. Within the WebAdvisor / Self Service Menu under "WebAdvisor for Credit Students," click on Academic Profile and then the Program Evaluation tab. You will see your academic program, what you have completed, and what choices you have in order to complete your remaining degree requirements.
