Hospitality Club

Welcome to the "Campus Famous" MCCC Hospitality Club

If you are interested in the hospitality industry, you must become a part of this dynamic team!

As a member, you will gain the knowledge necessary to succeed in the field from some of the industry's leaders. Work side by side with professionals to improve your skills by participating in a multitude of fundraising events (such as catering and bake sale events).

As a member of our Hospitality Club, your skills will be enhanced both in the back of the house (kitchen) and front of the house (dining experience). This is accomplished by volunteering to aid in the events we are asked to cater. You will receive a great head start in knowing where you would like to concentrate on in the industry.

We are a diverse team and, as such, we would like to expose our members to the different cultures that thrive in our community. This is achieved by using our fundraising revenues to attend food shows and other events that allow us to sample the different cuisines that make our world so great. Therefore, your Hospitality Club experiences will keep you on the "cutting edge" with today's industry direction and needs.

In the past, as a club, we have published our very own calendar filled with recipes and tips to ensure delightful results every time. Additionally, we have catered many events on and off campus, including a wedding for 150 guests in Princeton, NJ.

We were the proud winners of the prestigious Club of the Year award (for both 2002-2003 & 2005-2006) and wonderful things continue to be said about our club. The quality of the work and the level of professionalism displayed are indeed high for a student organization. It is through our catering events where we showcase what you have learned to many individuals at Mercer County Community College and our surrounding community.

With all that being said and done, our Hospitality Club membership can look forward to planning some events that all Club members can enjoy and benefit from together. This means, the more time and effort that we invest in making this club a success, the more we, the club as a whole and you as an individual, will benefit.
