First Time Pass Rate:  The percentage of students who passed the licensure exam the first time they took it.

Ultimate Pass Rate:  The percentage of students who passed the licensure exam after all attempts.

The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) Board of Directors believe that first time pass rates can be misleading because there can be many factors that influence that short term indices, whereas ultimate pass rate is be more indicative of the school’s overall program.
