Emanuel Medina (Enrollment Services): Don’t Study Passively
Common study positions are lying flat in bed or slouching in a comfy chair or sofa. These positions feel comfortable, they're not the best for studying.
When we take those relaxed postures, our body is sending our mind subconscious signals that inevitably lead us to fall asleep or lose focus. Lying down in bed isn't exactly a posture that screams focus and attentiveness.
Instead, you want to try and engage your body in an active way; sit upright at a table or desk and clear it of distractions as best you can.
