  • “In general, this symposium was a very positive experience which expanded my scope of understanding of both issues that affect my profession as well as the workings of the United States Government. As with many issues that groups and individuals face, it is often not enough to sit back and wait for things to play out, but it takes an effort on someone’s behalf to be the voice that represents the cause in order to bring about change and/or security for the collective. For these two days I felt honored to be part of that voice, and to help to make a difference on behalf of my chosen profession. Given the opportunity I will be returning in future years to continue these efforts, and to work to ensure stability for all Laboratory Professionals.” – Roger McCurdy
