While attending the Mercer County Community College Architecture program, students prepare portfolios of their design and graphic coursework for placement when transferring to their choice of School of Architecture.
Once the Associate Degree at Mercer is complete you can transfer, with your portfolio, to an accredited five-year Bachelors and/or Masters Degree program. Choosing a school can feel overwhelming, so a list is provided.
During school or after you graduate you must work in the field under a licensed architect, while completing the required Intern development program (IDP) hours. This process will help to prepare and qualify you for the licensing exam to become an architect.
