Athletics Department Announces
New Women's Soccer Coach

Jodie
Ricciardi will join the MCCC athletics staff as interim head coach
for women's soccer. According to MCCC Athletics Director John Simone,
Ricciardi has been part of the college's athletics network for a
number of years. "We are pleased to have Jodie on board. She
has extensive experience working with female college athletes and
understands the role of athletics within the college's mission."
Ricciardi
is a former "select" soccer player from the state of
Washington and has a master's degree in physical education and
sports management from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She received
her bachelor's degree in recreation and park management from Penn
State University, where she played four years of varsity softball.

In
addition to MCCC, she has worked in the athletics departments at Drew
University, TCNJ, and most recently at Princeton University. She has had
numerous leadership and coaching positions in youth soccer and softball.
The
Vikings' season begins Sept. 8 with an away game against Essex CC. The
home opener is Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. against Del Tech.
