MCCC Alumni Association “5K Run and Fun Fest” Set for Oct. 1

The Alumni Association of Mercer County Community College invites area runners to participate in its third annual "5K Run and Fun Fest" on Friday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m. Walkers are also welcome. The college will once again invite participants and their families to a festive picnic dinner and music outside the MCCC Physical Education Center following the race.
Race day registration and check-in for pre-registered runners begins at 4:45 p.m. outside the Physical Education Center on Mercer's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. The USATF-certified course follows two loops around the Mercer campus.
Gift certificates will be awarded to top male and female finishers. Prizes will also be given to first place male and female runners in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; and 60+. T-shirts will be distributed to all registered participants and to race day registrants while supplies last.
Following the race, participants will enjoy music, a picnic dinner
and beverages. The pre-registration fee is $15 until Sept. 24; after
Sept. 24, registration is $20. Tickets for the picnic only are $10.
Race proceeds will benefit the MCCC Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
