Colavita, Melker to Chair "Spring Into Student Success" Fundraiser to Benefit MCCC Students on April 14

2/23/15

WEST WINDSOR –For the third consecutive year, Mercer County Freeholder Pasquale “Pat” Colavita and Nina Melker, chair of the Mercer County Community College (MCCC) Foundation and senior vice president at Hopewell Valley Community Bank, have volunteered to chair “Spring Into Student Success,” the MCCC Foundation’s premier fundraiser to benefit the student scholarship fund.

Now in its 26th year, “Spring Into Student Success!” has enjoyed phenomenal growth under Colavita and Melker’s leadership. Each year the MCCC Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to high-achieving and financially-qualified students, including non-traditional students, part-time students and single parents. Many students benefit from endowed or named scholarships established by donors through the Foundation.

This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mercer Oaks, 725 Village Road, in Princeton Junction. Tickets are $125 each, or two for $225.
