Later-Starting Fall Classes Still Available at Mercer County Community College
9/10/13
WEST WINDSOR – There is still time to register for fall classes at Mercer County Community College, with most later-starting classes set to begin Oct. 1.
Classes are offered days, nights, and weekends on-site at the West Windsor and Trenton campuses, and through MercerOnline. Among the many later-starting classes are Accounting, Communications, English, History, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology, and Spanish. Sessions begin Oct. 1 (ten-week), Oct. 22 (seven-week), and Nov. 5 (five-week).
“Our goal as a community college is to make higher education accessible, and that means adjusting to accommodate a variety of life situations,” said MCCC President Dr. Patricia Donohue. “Mercer offers a flexible schedule that makes it possible for students to earn a college degree while meeting work and family obligations.”
Mercer offers 70 associate degree and 30 certificate programs, many in career areas with projected job growth, including health professions, education, business, law enforcement, and computer technology. Through the University Center at Mercer, students who complete their associate degree are eligible to transfer into bachelor’s degree programs offered on the Mercer campus through partnerships with William Paterson University, Rutgers University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Felician College.
