The Mercer County Holocaust-Genocide Resource Center has launched its "Movies at Noon" series, which continues with "Only a Number" on Sept. 29. Other screenings include "The Courage to Care" with Dr. Carol Rittner on Oct. 13; "The Long Way Home" on Oct. 27; "Year Zero: The Silent Death of Cambodia" on Nov. 17; and "Ghosts of Rwanda" on Dec. 1. In addition, the center will feature "Movies at Night" from 6-8 p.m. beginning on Sept. 24 with "Congo: White King, Red Rubber, Black Death" and on Nov. 3 with "Genocide: Worse Than War." Mercer will host two guest speakers in honor of Constitution Day, an observance on Thursday, Sept. 17 that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. On the West Windsor Campus, El-Rhonda Williams Alston, a legislative analyst and incentive grant supervisor for the Division of Taxation for the New Jersey Department of Treasury, will give a presentation in CM108 celebrating the legacy and impact of the 13th Amendment 150 years later. On the Trenton Campus, New Jersey Deputy Attorney General Denise Hollingsworth will deliver a lecture in Kerney Hall entitled “Understanding Your Constitutional Rights.” Both lectures are from noon to 1 p.m.
Registration is open for MercerOnline’s MO 101/102 Online Instructor Training for the week of Sept. 21 and 28.
MO 101/102 is an asynchronous online training that provides an introduction to Blackboard, which is used to complement face-to-face classes and facilitate online or hybrid instruction.
The class runs for one week and takes approximately three hours to complete. The face-to-face session meets noon to 1 p.m. and the evening online synchronous session is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Student Life and Leadership Office is sponsoring a Delaware River cruise on "The Spirit of Philadelphia" for an evening of dinner and dancing, on Sept. 24. The bus leaves MCCC at 4:45 p.m. and will return at 10:30 p.m.
Dress is business casual.

Spread the word! MCCC invites students and family members to an information session on “Ease of Transfer from MCCC to a Four-Year College” at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the Student Center. Admissions representatives from four-year colleges will conduct an information session about the transfer process. Curious George, star of books, movies and the award-winning PBS television show, is coming to Kelsey Theatre as part of the Kelsey Kids Series. Theatreworks/USA presents “Curious George and The Golden Meatball” on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Read more here.
Visual Arts Professor Kyle Stevenson will be displaying his work during a show at the Morpeth Contemporary, 43 West Broad Street, Hopewell. Through Sept. 24: Gallery Faculty Exhibit. The Gallery at Mercer puts its own talented faculty in the spotlight for the “2015 Visual Arts Faculty Exhibit.” The show runs through Thursday, Sept. 24. Read more here.
Through Dec. 7: Exercise Classes. Yoga and zumba are now offered through the Student Life and Leadership office. Zumba is offered in the gym on Tuesdays through Dec. 1, from noon to 1 p.m. Yoga is offered Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in PE225 through Dec. 7.
