Accessing MCCC Library Databases
- The MCCC Library's databases contain information from many subject areas.
- The bulk of the databases contains from articles from periodicals (magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals).
- Also included in the databases are encyclopedias, dictionaries, and as well as other information resources.
- Database information is not the same as information you would find on the web using a search engine like Google or Bing. Database information:
- comes from known, reputable sources, like the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal.
- tends to be more focused on your topic.
