At Mercer County Community College, Faculty and Staff are dedicated to helping you to succeed. You can and should always reach out to your Professors for help with your classes. Additionally, the Financial Aid office and Student Services are always prepared to provide you with assistance.

 

At the Trenton Campus, in the Learning Center, you will also be able to take advantage of the Trenton Campus Success Team. We can help with Financial Aid or with Academic Advisement. Our Success Team is available to guide you and coach you as you travel your educational path. If you have questions and you are not sure how to find answers, we can help you.

 

The most important questions is: Why are you here?

 

The Success Team will direct you to the appropriate individuals or departments and/or help you to make appointments. We will provide you with face-to-face, one-on-one guidance—we are dedicated to your success.

Tips for Success

  • Visit The First 30 Page (click here).
  • Meet with your Academic Advisor (you can find your advisor’s name in your portal - www.mccc.edu/mymercer).
  • Set up your Mercer email --See Instructions below.
  • Check your Mercer email on a regular basis – the College will communicate with you through your MCCC address. Your Professors will also communicate with you through your Mercer email account.
  • Be sure that the College has your correct phone number – if you change your number, be sure to notify the school.
  • Keep your Student ID with you – you will need it when you are on campus and if you need to give someone your Student ID number.
  • Take COL 100,COL 101 or ASK 003.
  • Keep all of your tests, papers and notes for your courses at least until the end of the semester.
  • Purchase a Flash Drive to save your work.
  • Keep track of your grades.
  • Make appointments and conference with your Professors if you have questions or if you are struggling.
  • Take advantage of Tutoring services.
  • Take advantage of the Success Team.
