Mercer County Symphonic Band Winter Concert Performances Dec. 16, 18
Due to the popularity of its annual winter concert, the Mercer County Symphonic Band has added a second performance on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre. Read more here.

 

Kick Off The New Year With 'Calendar Girls' at Kelsey Theatre, Jan. 3-12
The Kelsey Theatre and the Pennington Players kick off the New Year with the popular, fun and risqué British comedy “Calendar Girls” — a true story based on the lives of eleven extraordinary Women’s Institute ladies who pose nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund. The show runs from January 3 through 12. Merchandise sold during the performances will benefit Capital Health Cancer Center. Purchase tickets here.

Students Find Empowerment at Third Edition of MCCC Entrepreneurial Master Class
In the third edition of MCCC's Entrepreneurial Master Class, students were provided a foundation for finding their personal success, regardless of their eventual goals. Mercer alumni, staff, and local entrepreneurs shared their stories of navigating the world of business, held seminars on crafting an elevator pitch, interviewing skills, and more. MCCC Accountant Tahir Bradley Tackles New York City Marathon
Most people who take a 26.2-mile trip would choose a car, bus or other wheeled mode of transportation, but MCCC accountant Tahir Bradley prefers his feet. Bradley ran his third New York City Marathon last month, and finshed with a personal best 3:43. Read more here.

 

 

MCCC Science Faculty Showcase Classroom Innovation at Raritan Valley STEM Summit
MCCC science faculty continued to share their innovations with peers throughout the tristate area this semester at the Raritan Valley Community College STEM Summit on Oct. 18. Biology Professors Laura Blinderman, Ellen Genovesi and Diane Hilker and Chemistry Professor Helen Tanzini spent the day at the conference as both learners and teachers, informing attendees about Mercer’s STEM programming, networking, and picking up tips about how to engage students studying biochemistry.
