The following events, open to the public, kick off with the Fashion Show Scholarship Event at JKC on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will see minority vendors selling a variety of products, as well as performances from a live band formed by MCCC Alumni.

Opening ceremonies are scheduled for Feb. 5 at 11:30 a.m. at Kerney Hall (JKC), and will feature a luncheon catered by Smoke House Grill. The keynote speaker is Minister Gerald Truehart of Lion of Judah Studio and New Horizon Baptist Church.

On Feb. 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. both campuses will feature Celebrations of Song and Dance, a series of performances by MCCC students and staff and hosted by staff members Hope Jarvis and Quenten Couch.
