WEST WINDSOR, NJ -- Children and families who love solving a good fairy tale detective story will enjoy “The Further Adventures of Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective” at Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Kelsey Theatre Feb. 18 and 19 on the college’s West Windsor Campus.

Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective returns to the Kelsey Stage because Ol’ Granny Possum has been kidnapped – but who did it? Was it the evil Queen Cupcake? The dreaded Captain Bluebeard? Or was it some other nefarious fairy tale character?

With the help of the famous Puss in Boots, it’s up to Nick to set things right. With detective reasoning and clues from Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and Rumpelstiltskin (plus some dumb luck) Nick Tickle sets out to locate Granny so she can tell her stories again. Of course, he may require some help from everyone in the audience to solve his toughest case ever, so join Maurer Productions OnStage for a fun time for the whole family.

Award-winning director Diana Gilman Maurer of Ewing brings this delightful, off-beat interactive mystery to the Kelsey stage, with a talented cast and crew that includes Edward Liu of Princeton Junction as Nick Tickle; Karen Bowden of Lakewood as Granny; Sally Graham Bethmann of Bensalem, Pa., as Queen Cupcake and the Fairy Godmother; Kristine Camilo of Warminster, Pa., as Snow White and Cinderella; Chris Guear as the Magic Mirror, Vinnie the Woodsman and Puss in Boots; Parker Madison of Burlington as Prince Charming and Bluebeard; with Carlos Gonzalez-Najera of Burlington and Pat Rounds of Hamilton rounding out the cast.

The crew includes Stage Manager Melissa Gaynor of Hamilton; Set Designer John M. Maurer of Ewing; Lighting Designer Judi Parrish of Ewing; and Costumer Anthony Wurtz of Levittown, Pa.
