West Windsor, N.J.  –  Kelsey Players and Maurer Productions OnStage are proud to make the December holidays thoroughly delightful with a special one-weekend-only performance of the musical production “A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail.” The show runs Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

As a special addition, audience members are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for donation to “Toys for Tots” — a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children in need.

The heartwarming tale begins when Christopher Robin and friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood share a story of a Christmas Eve a long time ago. Eeyore, the old gray donkey, who lives by himself in the thistle corner of the Hundred-Acre Wood, has lost his tail. All seems lost until Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet round up all their friends organize a search party. The entire adventure is fun and exciting and features delightful songs and themes of caring, sharing and the importance of friends.

The show is directed by Diana Gilman Maurer of Ewing. The cast features Mike Lovett of Ewing as Winnie-the-Pooh, Lauren Friedman of Manalapan as Piglet, Keanu Lamarre of Lawrenceville as Christopher Robin, Katherine Hanratty of Cranbury as Eeyore, Haley Schmalbach of Hamilton as Rabbit, Jenna Moschella of Ewing as Tigger, Jacqueline Silva of Westampton as Kanga, Christopher Schmalbach of Hamilton as Owl, and Sierra Friedman of Manalapan and Utsav Vishnoi of Princeton Junction as the young bunnies.
