From June 17 through Aug. 16, MCCC will once again open its West Windsor Campus to children and teens ages 6 to 17. Registration has been brisk, but there are still some openings for summer fun in Camp College, Sports Camps and Tomato Patch Visual and Performing Arts Workshops. Read more here.

A group of 28 MCCC students and faculty members went on a college Study Tour of Poland from May 10-19, returning with powerful insights and strong emotions to process and absorb. In a wide-ranging discussion facilitated by Professor Andrea Lynch, coordinator of the Center for Global Education, on June 11, it became clear – often painfully – that the trip made a major impact. As the culmination of a year of activities, the Mercer County Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Education Center hosted the third annual Dr. Paul Winkler Holocaust and Genocide Educators’ Conference on June 5 at the MCCC Conference Center. MCCC baseball Head Coach Fred Carella had his hands full to start the season. After Kevin Kerins stepped down from the role after seven seasons, Carella was appointed to lead the Vikings. Carella was well prepared, and the Vikings were every bit as driven this year as they were in seasons under Kerins. Mercer went 11-3 against teams in the region, earning them the second seed and a bye in the first round of the Region 19 tournament. Read more here.

The program, which was launched this spring, provides "free tuition" for students whose household income does not exceed $45,000. It is part of Governor Murphy's 2020 budget proposal, to be voted on by the state legislature by July 1. With passage, students who qualify will receive free tuition for the fall semester.
More information about CCOG is available by calling (609) 570-3795, e-mailing admiss@mccc.edu, or by visiting http://www.mccc.edu/free.
