Kelsey Theatre Collecting Toys for Tots Beginning Nov. 1
Kelsey Theatre's seventh annual toy drive has officially begun! Toys donated to Kelsey between Nov. 1 and Dec. 1 will support Toys for Tots, while toys collected between Dec. 2 to Dec. 15 will be donated to Homefront in Lawrenceville. Kelsey Theatre also invites you to its Stuff Your Stockings Sale following select theatre performances. See the flyer for the sale and toy drive here.

NJIT Transfer Workshop on Nov. 5

CCS Medical Billing and Coding Info Session on Nov. 6
The Center for Continuing Studies is hosting its next information session for Medical Billing and Coding on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. on the West Windsor Campus. For more information, click here.

'Transient Brevity' Opening Reception Nov. 6
The public is invited to “A Conversation With the Artists” for the show 'Transient Brevity' on Nov. 6 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Communications Building, Room CM107. A community reception with the artists will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in The Gallery. Read more here.

'Kristallnacht Remembrance' Discussion and Moment of Reflection on Nov. 7
The Mercer County Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education Center will host a Kristallnacht Remembrance, a moment of reflection and discussion on the Nazi pogrom in 1938, on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Holocaust Center (LB200) at noon. For the full schedule of events, click here.

Nursing Program Information Session on Nov. 8
Attendance at one of the info sessions is mandatory for students interested in applying to the college's Nursing program. The next session is on Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. in MS214. For a full list of dates, click here.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Kelsey Theatre Nov. 8 to 17
The ultimate story of sibling rivalry, betrayal, immense courage, and redemption comes to the stage of Kelsey Theatre with the Yardley Players’ production of “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat,” Nov. 8-17. The community is invited to an opening night reception with the cast and crew on Nov. 8. This family-friendly musical, with music by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Tim Rice, blends pop, country, and rock into an uplifting production filled with unforgettable songs. Remind your students that they can get free, professional help to fill out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at both the West Windsor and James Kerney Campuses on NJ FAFSA Days. Veterans Day Ceremony Nov. 11
Everyone at the College is cordially invited to this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Conference Center Auditorium. Kindness Rocks Project Returns to MCCC on Nov. 13
The Kindness Rocks Project, an international grassroots movement to spread positivity and well-being, returns to MCCC this week. All are invited to paint a rock with inspiring words or a kind message on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from noon to 1 p.m. in SC104. See the flyer here.

Culinary Student Restaurants Serving Lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays
Even if you missed out on tickets to our annual culinary benefit, you can still taste student-crafted cuisine at the American Regional Lunch restaurant! On Mondays from, Nov. 11 through Dec. 9, our culinary students will be serving dishes themed around locales across the U.S. Next up are the Midwestern states on Monday, Nov. 11. MCCC Celebrated 6th Annual Women Entrepreneurship Week on Oct. 23 and 24
The college community gathered for a pair of panel presentations from local businesswomen at both the West Windsor and James Kerney Campuses (JKC) on Oct. 23 and 24 in celebration of Women Entrepreneurship Week 2019. Started at Montclair State University in 2014, WEW is a weeklong, annual and global event designed to celebrate women in entrepreneurship, share ideas and unite communities around promoting regional success and business opportunities. MCCC’s New Caribbean Vibes Club: Next Best Thing to a Trip to the Islands
Ever dreamed of going to Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas or any other island nation in the Caribbean? Closing Reception for 'You, me, these walls, and our ghosts' on Nov. 7
MCCC Fine Arts Professor Lucas Kelly invites you to the closing reception and gallery talk for 'You, me, these walls, and our ghosts.' Hosted at Tiger Strikes Asteroid PHL, guests can enjoy a night of cocktails and conversation with Kelly in celebration of the closing reception of "You, me, these walls, and our ghosts," Kelly's first solo exhibition with TSAPhilly. Let ‘Scrooge’ be Your Bah-Humbug Repellant This Holiday Season at MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre, Nov. 22 to Dec. 1
Put a little spirit into your holidays – three of them, in fact – and battle the bah-humbugs with “Scrooge,” a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, at Kelsey Theatre Nov. 22 through Dec. 1. Read more here.

Nov. 13 Autonomous Cars are Topic of Sierra Club Lecture. Princeton University autonomous vehicle expert Dr. Alain Kornhauser will deliver the Sierra Club lecture "Autonomous Cars: Where Do We Want to Go? What Do We Need to Get There?" on Wednesday, Nov. 13, with pizza served at 6 p.m. and the lecture beginning at 6:30 p.m. in SC104. Dr. Kornhauser will be discussing the several evolutions that seem possible in applying automation to cars from where we are today, and will discuss the environmental and societal implications of each, as well as the challenges going forward. Nov. 13: Last Health Professions Information Session for Fall 2019. The college will present the last of a series of Health Professions Information Sessions on Nov. 13, where prospective students will learn about degree programs, career paths, employment opportunities and more. Zumba, Yoga Classes Now Underway. Yoga and Zumba classes for staff and students are now under way! Evening yoga continues through Dec. 9 in PE 225 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday lunchtime yoga classes continue through Dec. 11 in the gym, noon to 1 p.m. See the flyer here. Zumba classes will be held on Tuesdays, through Dec. 10, in the gym from noon to 1 p.m. See the flyer here. There will be no classes during the week of Thanksgiving break. Classes are presented through the Student Life and Leadership office.
