'Transient Brevity' Exhibit Opens Today at West Windsor Campus Gallery
"Transient Brevity" is a five-artist exhibit examining the notion of ephemerality and how each artists chooses to represent that which is fleeting. Some of the works represent direct interactions or interpretations with the surrounding environment, while others are somewhat autobiographical, with the collective works creating a narrative. The exhibit runs through Dec. 19, with a community reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6. For Gallery hours and a schedule of upcoming shows, click here.

Spread the Word: College Transfer Day 2019 is Oct. 29
Be sure your students know about the biggest transfer fair of the semester on Tuesday, Oct. 29, when representatives from more than 50 four-year college programs will be on hand to provide information about life after graduating from Mercer. The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the PE Building gymnasium. See the flyer here.

Get Your Ghoul on at Learning Center Open House Oct. 31
Dress up in your Halloween best for the West Windsor Learning Center Open House on Thursday, Oct. 31 (All Hallow's Eve!) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in LB 214. Open to all students, faculty, and staff. Costumes encouraged! See the flyer here.

All Invited to Rainbow Alliance Pizza Party Oct. 31
The MCCC Rainbow Alliance has extended an invitation to the campus community for a Halloween Pizza Party on Thursday, Oct. 31, from noon to 1 p.m. in SC104. All are invited! See the flyer here.

Final Boarding Call for ‘Catch Me if You Can’ at Kelsey Theatre
It's the last weekend for the high-flying musical comedy "Catch Me if You Can," presented by the Pennington Players at Kelsey Theatre. The show is based on the amazing true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., a teenage runaway gushing with boyish charm who successfully poses as a doctor, lawyer, and airline pilot, forges millions of dollars in checks, and is eventually bested by a dogged FBI agent. Read more here.

All Aboard for SGA Spirit of Philadelphia Cruise Nov. 7
The MCCC Student Government Association (SGA) is sponsoring an evening on the river with the Spirit of Philadelphia on Thursday, Nov. 7. The bus departs from the PE circle at 5:30 p.m., and returns at 10:30 p.m. The dinner cruise includes water, soda, and dessert, along with a DJ and dancing! Kristallnacht Remembrance at Holocaust Center Nov. 7
The Mercer County Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education Center will host a Kristallnacht Remembrance, a moment of reflection and discussion on the Nazi pogrom in 1938, on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Holocaust Center (LB200) at noon. For the full schedule of events, click here.

‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at Kelsey Nov. 8 to 17
The ultimate story of sibling rivalry, betrayal, immense courage, and redemption comes to the stage of Kelsey Theatre with the Yardley Players’ production of “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat,” Nov. 8-17. The community is invited to an opening night reception with the cast and crew on Nov. 8. This family-friendly musical, with music by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Tim Rice, blends pop, country, and rock into an uplifting production filled with unforgettable songs. Autonomous Cars are Topic of Sierra Club Lecture Nov. 13
Princeton University autonomous vehicle expert Dr. Alain Kornhauser will deliver the Sierra Club lecture "Autonomous Cars: Where Do We Want to Go? What Do We Need to Get There?" on Wednesday, Nov. 13, with pizza served at 6 p.m. and the lecture beginning at 6:30 p.m. in SC104. Dr. Kornhauser will be discussing the several evolutions that seem possible in applying automation to cars from where we are today, and will discuss the environmental and societal implications of each, as well as the challenges going forward. HRIM Student Restaurant Opens for Two Lunch, Two Dates Only, Nov. 13 & 20
It doesn't get any fresher than this! Sample fine cuisine, prepared by MCCC HRIM students with herbs grown on the West Windsor Campus by Horticulture students, for two days only when the Food Preparation II class opens the Collage student restaurant for lunch, Nov. 13 and 20. Volunteers Wanted for WWFM Membership Drive
Fall is Membership Time at WWFM! WWFM is looking for volunteers to help answer phones during its Fall Fundraising Drive on Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 31 (Halloween costumes are more than welcome!) from 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Shifts can be flexible, but are a minimum of one hour. If you enjoy speaking with the public and want to help WWFM meet its fundraising goals, contact Shelly Skillman at ext. 3771. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the radio station’s operations and meet your colleagues on its staff. Other fundraising dates this fall include: Friday, Nov. 18; Tuesday, Nov. 12; Wednesday, Nov. 13; Monday, Nov. 18; Thursday, Nov. 21; and Monday, Dec. 16.

MCCC to Host NJ FAFSA Days at West Windsor and Trenton Campuses
MCCC is opening its West Windsor and James Kerney campuses for a series of events focused on streamlining the process to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Organized by MCCC’s Financial Aid Office in partnership with the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, NJ FAFSA Days will provide free, professional assistance to current students and community members. Men's Soccer Playing for Shot at Region 19 Title at Home Oct. 30
Following an incredible season and a 15-2 record, the MCCC Men's Soccer team is one win away from a shot at the Region 19 title! The Vikings will square off against Harcum at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 on their home turf. Mercer defeated Harcum in a hard-fought battle during the regular season, 2-1. The winner of Wednesday's match-up will advance to the Region 19 championship game at Temple University on Saturday, Nov. 2. Go Vikings!

Nov. 6: HRIM's 6th Annual Culinary Tasting Event. Supporting a good cause never tasted so good, as the MCCC Culinary/Pastry programs will once again host a tasting event featuring Central New Jersey’s finest restaurants, with proceeds to benefit student scholarships. Through Nov. 12: 'Pequeña Hoguera – Blaze' Exhbit at JKC Gallery. Photography and poetry come together for a singular experience at the JKC Gallery, when two life-long friends put their work on display in the exhibit “Pequeña Hoguera – Blaze” through Nov. 12. Nov. 13: Last Health Professions Information Session for Fall 2019. The college will present the last of a series of Health Professions Information Sessions on Nov. 13, where prospective students will learn about degree programs, career paths, employment opportunities and more. Zumba, Yoga Classes Now Underway. Yoga and Zumba classes for staff and students are now under way! Evening yoga continues through Dec. 9 in PE 225 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday lunchtime yoga classes continue through Dec. 11 in the gym, noon to 1 p.m. See the flyer here. Zumba classes will be held on Tuesdays, through Dec. 10, in the gym from noon to 1 p.m. See the flyer here. There will be no classes during the week of Thanksgiving break. Classes are presented through the Student Life and Leadership office.
