"Get Fit" for a Career in The Field

Thank you for considering Mercer County College’s (MCCC) Exercise Science Program. The field of exercise science is rapidly growing and offers a wide variety of career opportunities such as those involving coaching, education, exercise physiology, exercise research, health promotion and project management, personal training, rehabilitative exercise and sport-specific athletic performance. Admission to this program requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Students graduating from this program will be prepared for the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) exam. In addition, the MCCC Exercise Science Program has also secured 2 + 2 articulation agreements with local four-year universities for students who wish to continue studying.

This website will introduce you to Mercer’s Exercise Science Program curriculum and degree requirements as well as the professional relationships we’ve built with the local community and beyond. You will also find information about our 2 + 2 agreements with other four-year universities.
