The Associate in Science degree prepares you for transfer as a junior to a four-year college or university Computer Science program.  more

The Certificate of Proficiency program offers the Computer Science core courses to help students to explore Computer Science discipline and gain programming skills.

If you have previously completed a degree in a different field and consider moving to Computer Science field or adding programming to your skill set, you can start with this certificate. If you have a Bachelor’s degree (not in Computer Science) and are interested in pursuing a Computer Science Master’s degree, you may use the courses offered in this certificate as “bridge” courses to enter a Computer Science Master’s program without a Computer Science Bachelor’s degree.

If you are pursuing a degree at Mercer and are also interested in learning Computer Science, you may consider receiving this certificate at the same time. The courses in this program may be applied toward your degree program.  more
