Lincroft, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 37-5 on the season following a 15-2 win at Brookdale (12-13) in five innings. Freshman Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Twp.) went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs and freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had a double and 2 RBIs.
Freshman pitcher Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) struck out six in five innings in her ninth win of the season. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) was 2 for 2 with an RBI and 3 runs. Freshmen Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), Ada Kaschl (Brusells, Belgium/European School of Brusells III) and Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) and sophomores Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) and Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) all had an RBI in the win.
The Vikings will play their final regular season game vs CCBC-Catonsville (21-12) at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 27th.
