West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 25-5 following a 13-0 shutout vs Sussex CCC (2-16). Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) went 3 for 3 with two doubles and 3 RBIs and sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) was 4 for 4 with 4 runs and an RBI. Sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) and freshman Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Twp.) each had 2 RBIs in the win. Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) had six strikeouts in five innings in her eleventh win of the season and freshman Izzy Bonacci added an RBI in the win.
The Vikings next host RCSJ-Cumberland (4-10) in a 3:00 PM doubleheader on Monday, April 15th.
