West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (13-4) beat Brookdale CC (1-3) 6-0 in Game 2 of their doubleheader. Freshman pitcher Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) allowed just one hit and struck out ten in seven innings. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs and sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs.
Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 4 with an RBI and freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 3 with two runs in the win.
