Mercer Moves to 18-0 with 20-0 Shutout at Sussex County CC

Newton, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 18-0 on the season following a 20-0 Game 2 win at Sussex County CC (1-9).  Sophomore Emily Wyzykowski (Eastampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) was a perfect 4 for 4 with a home run, double and 3 RBIs and freshman Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown HS) went 3 for 4 with a double, home run and 5 RBIs.  Sophomore Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) had 3 RBIs and sophomore Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Twp.) went 4 for 5 with 2 RBIs and 4 runs. 

 

Sophomore Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) had 2 hits and 2 RBIs and freshman Nicole Infante (Cream Ridge, NJ/Allentown) went 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Sophomore Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 4 with an RBI and sophomore Cadence Mapes-Klemic (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional) added an RBI in the win. 

 

The Vikings next travel to CC of Morris (12-12) for a doubleheader on Thursday, March 27th.
