West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (7-4) won Game 1 of their first game on their new turf field vs Orange CCC (5-6) 4-1. Freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) had 2 RBIs and freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 2 for 2 with 2 runs and an RBI. Freshman pitcher Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) struck out six in seven innings for her third win of the season. Freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) added an RBI in the win.
