Myrtle Beach, SC-Mercer softball (5-3) was shut out by Florence-Darlington Tech (16-7) 0-5. Freshman pitcher Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had seven strikeouts in six innings in the loss.
The Vikings finish out their trip to Myrtle Beach with a 10:00 AM game vs Alpena CC (1-4) and 1:00 PM game vs Danville Area CC (8-4).
