West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s soccer won their eleventh game in a row, routing Sussex CCC 12-0. Sophomore Annika Maringer (Asperg, Germany/Gymnasium IB) and freshman Mia Belton (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) each had a hat trick in the win and freshman Eva Sturm (Berlin, Germany/Gymnasium Steglitz) scored two goals. Sophomore Luana Nascimento (Cariacica, Brazil/Colegio Estadual Do Espirito Santo) and freshmen Maddie Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West), Francesca Wright (Beccles, UK/Sir Leman HS) and Linnea Rameil (Lennestadt, Germany/Gymnasium Maria Konigin) each scored a goal in the win.
Sturm added two assists and Harrison and Maringer each added an assist. Sophomores Fiona Madigan (Dublin, Ireland/Fingal Community College) and Laura Kucharz (Singen, Germany/Freidrich Wohler Gymnasium) and freshman Louise Stritch (Preston Lancashire/Archbishop Temple each added an assist.
Mercer will look for their twelfth win in a row when they host CCBC-Essex at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th.
