West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s basketball moved to 13-5 following an 88-55 win vs Del Tech CC (0-18). Sophomore Jhava Wilson (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) was one of three Vikings with 20 points and
freshman Jayla Jones (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had a double double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Zaakirah Edwards (Philadelphia, PA/Mastery Charter) had 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Freshman Alexandra Garcia Galan (Barcelona, Spain) had seven points, ten rebounds and seven assists and freshman Valerie Rivas (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) added eight points in the win. Sophomore Lia Sekhniashvili (Madrid, Spain / American School of Madrid) had seven points and sophomore Carla Cencerrero Gallego (Mataro, Spain/Institut Laia l'Arguero) added six points, nine rebounds and three assists in the win.
The Vikings next play at Essex CC (4-11) on Saturday, February 1st at 12:00 PM.
