Mercer Routs SUNY Ulster 100-65 to Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s basketball (11-13) kept their playoff hopes alive with a 100-65 win over SUNY Ulster.  Freshman Torren Greene (Berlin, NJ/Paul VI) led the Vikings with 30 points, going 14 for 18 from the field.  Freshman Joell Idrovo (Hamilton, NJ/Solebury School) had 18 points and four assists and sophomore Jayson Love (Philadelphia, PA/Academy at Palumbo) had 14 points, nine rebounds and six rebounds.

 

Sophomore Joe Lemly (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had eight points and four rebounds and freshman Vance Lewis (Yokohama, Japan / NILE C. Kinnick HS) added seven points.  Freshman Brandon McCain (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick HS) had six points and four assists and freshman Drew Parrish (New York, NY/Murray Bergtraum) added six points in the win.

 

The Vikings next travel to Raritan Valley CC (16-12) in another must win game on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00 PM.
