West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s basketball kept their playoff hopes alive with an 89-97 win vs CCBC Dundalk (12-10). The Vikings outscored the Lions by 20 points in the second half for the big come from behind win. Freshman Torren Greene (Berlin, NJ/Paul VI) led the Vikings with 22 points and five assists and freshman Joell Idrovo (Hamilton, NJ/Solebury School) had 19 points, four rebounds and two blocks. Sophomore Joe Lemly (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 18 points and was 10 for 11 from the foul line. Freshman Drew Parrish (New York, NY/Murray Bergtraum) added 12 points and six assists and sophomore Jayson Love (Philadelphia, PA/Academy at Palumbo) had 12 points and freshman Brandon McCain (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick HS) added 11 points and five rebounds in the win.
The Vikings face another must win game on Saturday, February 15th at 1:00 PM as they host CC of Morris (11-14).
