West Windsor, NJ-In their first game of 2025, Mercer men’s basketball (5-9) lost to Northampton CC (15-2) 8. Sophomore Jayson Love (Philadelphia, PA/Academy at Palumbo) led the Vikings with 23 points and seven rebounds and freshman Torren Greene (Berlin, NJ/Paul VI) had 22 points in the loss.
Freshman Joell Idrovo (Hamilton, NJ/Solebury School) had ten points and six assists and freshman Antonio Morris (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem HS) scored ten points. Sophomore Joe Lemly (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) added six points and four rebounds and freshman Brandon McCain (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick HS) pulled down ten rebounds in the loss.
The Vikings next host Middlesex College (16-4) in a 7:00 PM game on Tuesday, January 21st.
