West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball opened their series with Sussex County CC with a 9-2 win. Freshman Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s ) had a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) had a double and 2 RBIs. Sophomore Donny Gallagher (Stockton, NJ/South Hunterdon) went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI and sophomore Owen Friddell (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) added an RBI. Freshman Jordan Raba (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had an RBI and two stolen bases and sophomore Ryan Leary (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) went for 3 and had four stolen bases. Sophomore pitcher Matteo Mannino (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) only allowed one earned run in seven innings in his third win of the season.
