Randolph, NJ-Mercer baseball opened Region play with a 6-2 win at County College of Morris. Sophomore Owen Friddell (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) went 3 for 5 with two home runs and 3 RBIs and freshman Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) was 3 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Freshman Alex Bischoff (Hamilton, NJ/Allentown HS) went 3 for 4 with an RBI in the nine inning win. Sophomore pitcher Matteo Mannino (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) did not allow any earned runs in five innings.
