Myrtle Beach, SC-Mercer baseball moved to 10-5 on the season following a 5-2 win vs Garrett College. Freshman pitcher Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) had six strikeouts in six innings. Sophomore Owen Friddell (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs and sophomore Jake Pope (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 2 with a double and RBI.
