Mercer men’s soccer schedule will feature 16 games including six home games and the possibility of additional games in October to be added. The Vikings season opener is on August 18th at CCBC-Catonsville. Mercer’s home opener is August 26th vs Suffolk CCC. Suffolk finished 9th in NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Division III men's soccer last season and reached the National Tournament. The Vikings will also host Raritan on September 1st, another Division III opponent that reached the National Tournament last season.
The Vikings will host Division II Region opponent Lackawanna on September 30 th and travel to Region Division II opponent Essex on September 9 th.
Other home games on the Vikings schedule this fall include Rockland CC on August 31st, RCSJ-Gloucester on September 6 th and Harford on September 12th.
The Vikings face a tough test when they travel to take on Monroe (Bronx) on September 22 nd. Monroe was last year’s NJCAA Division I National Champion and finished the season 11-0-2. Mercer will also travel to Nassau CC on August 29 th. Nassau finished the season ranked 4 th in NJCAA Division III soccer.
The Vikings will also travel to Harcum on August 23rd, Middlesex on September 5 th and Carroll (MD) on September 16 th. Mercer will also travel to Maryland for two games October 6 th-7 th, playing Howard CC on the 6 th and taking on Frederick CC on the 7 th.
Mercer men's soccer will be lead by Widmarc Dalce, who is entering his 12th season as Head Coach of the Vikings.
