Women's Basketball Player Ross Named First Team All-Conference
Another week and another set of honors for sophomore women’s basketball player Gabriella Ross (Lakehurst, NJ/Monsignor Donovan Catholic). This week Ross was named to the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) First Team. Ross averaged 20.5 points a game, which was 14th best in NJCAA Division II women’s basketball. Ross had 390 points in 19 games this season, 67 steals and scored 390 points in 19 games. Ross could get to the free throw line, averaging 5.89 free throw attempts per game.
Ross, who has had multiple NCAA Division I offers helped lead the Vikings to a 17-7 record and to their first playoff appearance in 14 years. Ross also earned First Team All-Region 19 honors, announced at the end of the regular season.
