Softball Pitcher Krebs Throws Perfect Game

On Saturday, April 6^th, MCCC softball pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) threw a perfect game as the Vikings beat Lackawanna 8-0.  In the perfect game, Krebs struck out eight in six innings while walking no batters.

For her efforts, Krebs was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Pitcher of the Week.  In 13 innings pitched last week, Krebs struck out 16 batters while walking none and picked up her seventh and eighth wins of the season.

Krebs has a 1.88 ERA this spring and is 8-1.  Krebs has 57 strikeouts in 63 innings pitched while allowing only ten walks on the season.

Krebs earned All-Region 19 and All-GSAC honors in 2023.  Krebs has also excelled in the classroom.  Krebs has earned All-Region 19 and All-GSAC Academic honors every semester (Fall 2022, Spring 2023, and Fall 2023).  Krebs was also named an NJCAA Academic All-American in May.  Student athletes must have a GPA between 3.60-4.0 for the 2022-2023 academic year to earn NJCAA Academic All-American honors.
