Women's Softball Spring Schedule Announced

The 2024 Vikings softball schedule has been announced.  The 2024 schedule features 16 doubleheaders not including games to be played in Myrtle Beach.  The Vikings will begin their season at the Fast Pitch Classic in Myrtle Beach March 14^th-19^th.  The Vikings home opener is March 21^st vs Orange CCC.  The Vikings final regular season game is a home doubleheader vs CCBC Catonsville on April 27^th.

 

The Vikings will take on six Division II opponent this spring: four at home and two on the road.  The Vikings will host Raritan Valley CC on March 26^th, Salem CC on April 2^nd, CC of Morris on April 11^thand Sussex CCC on April 13^th.  The Vikings will travel to Del Tech CC on March 30^thsnd Lackawanna College on April 6^th.

 

Mercer will face two opponents who reached the NJCAA Division II World Series last spring March 22^nd when they host Suffolk CCC on March 22^nd and Brookdale CC on March 28^th.  The Vikings will also travel to Brookdale on April 25^th.

 

Other opponents the Vikings will host this spring include RCSJ Cumberland on March 23^rd and Monroe College on April 4^th.  Additional road games for the Vikings include Ocean CC on April 9^th, Lehigh Carbon CC on April 16^th and Northampton CC on April 18^th.

 

The Vikings finished 40-10 in the 2023 season.  Ryan Zegarski will enter his 20^th season as the Vikings Head Coach.
