Twelve Mercer Men's Soccer Sophomores to Play in Final Home Game October 15th

 

Twelve MCCC men’s soccer will be playing in their final regular season home game on Tuesday, October 15th at 4:00 PM vs Cecil College.

 

Midfielder Francesco Quintavalla is a Global Studies major from Parma, Italy.  Quintavalla is a 2023-2024 NJCAA Academic All-American.  Quintavalla had two goals and four assists in the 2023 season.  In the 2024 season, Quintavalla leads the team with eight assists.  In two seasons, Quintavalla has seven goals and nine assists.  Quintavalla earned All-Region and All-Conference All-Academic honors in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.  Quintavlla earned Conference Player of the Week honors this week.

 

Midfielder Lesedi Hlabeli is an Architecture major from Guateng, South Africa. Hlabeli nine goals and eight assists in two seasons and earned Conference Player of the Week honors in 2023.  Hlabeli earned All-Region and All-Conference All-Academic honors in Spring 2024.

 

Forward Alou Gamby is a Computer Science major from Lansdale, PA.  In two seasons, Gamby has four goals and four assists and earned Conference Player of the Week honors in 2023.

 

Back Diego Orquiz is a Business Administration major from Chihuahua, Mexico.  Orquiz played in 17 games and scored two goals in the 2023 season.  Orquiz has two goals and one assist in the 2024 season.  Orquiz earned All-Region Academic honors for Spring 2024. 

 

Forward Joao Lourenco is an Exercise Science major from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  Lourenco has three goals in two seasons and earned All-Region and All-Conference All-Academic honors in Spring 2024.

 

Forward Joao Delgado is a Business Administration major from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Delgado has five goals and one assist in two seasons with the Vikings.

 

Back Torin Mitchell is a Business Administration major from Aberdeen, Scotland and one of the team’s most supportive players the past two seasons.

 

Forward Bastian Strunk is a Business Administration major from Weingarten, Germany.  Strunk is a versatile player who has one assist in the 2024 season.

 

Goalie Elias Ramos is an Exercise Science major from Telde, Spain. Ramos had 16 saves in eight games in the 2023 season.  Ramos has three saves in three games this season.

 

Midfielder Manuel Alonso is a Chemistry major from A Caruna, Spain.  Alonso has played in all twelve Mercer games this season and has three goals and three assists.

 

Midfielder Carlos Cuellar is a Global Studies major from Manta, Ecuador.  Cuellar has one assist this season.

 

Midfielder Cesar Zuniga is a Biology major from Clifton, NJ.  Zuniga has one assist in limited action this season.
