Men's Basketball Final Home Games

1/2/24

MCCC men’s basketball has some exciting nights planned for their final home games of the 2023-2024 season.

The January 20th game will be Mercer’s first annual Smart Game, Save Lives game. Smart Game, Save Lives is an organization founded by members of the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) following the death of Houston Christian University star Darius Lee in 2022. MCCC Head Coach Howard Levy is a founding member of the group which is focused on gun violence education. Harcum Head Coach John Ball is also involved with this initiative at the local and national level.

One such night is on Thursday, January 25th vs Raritan Valley CC.  The night will be both Academic Achievement Night and Cancer Awareness Night.  At halftime, the MCCC Athletic Department will recognize all student athletes who earned All-Conference and All-Region Academic honors for the fall 2023 semester.  The night will also feature raffles and giveaways from Student Life and have some educational information about cancer.

The final Vikings home game is Thursday, February 1st vs Essex.  This game will be “Sophomore Night”, a night to honor the Vikings six second year players: Justin Carbone (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick), Izaiah Johnson (Burlington, NJ/Burlington City), Jason Mark (Broward, FL/Blanche Ely HS), Isham McClain (Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton HS), Anthony Rhodes (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) and Kristian Smith (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham).

We hope to see you at one or all of these final regular season home games for Vikings men’s basketball!
