MCCC To Host Special Nights at Final Home Basketball Games
Mercer will be having some special nights in its final home basketball games of the 2024-2025 season. Tuesday, February 11th will be Academic Achievement Night and National Women in Sports Night. All student athletes who earned All-Conference or All-Region All-Academic honors will be recognized at halftime of the 5:00 PM women’s game vs Salem Community Colege. One female athlete from each of MCCC’s athletic teams will be honored at halftime of the women’s game vs Salem CC. National Girls and Women in Sports Night is celebrated around the first week of February and recognizes the accomplishments of female athletes and celebrates women's participation in sports.
February 11th is also Sophomore Night for women’s basketball which will recognize all sophomore players before their final regular season home game.
Men’s basketball’s Sophomore Night will be on Saturday, February 18th. Sophomore players will be honored prior to the Vikings’ final regular season home game at 12:00 PM.
