Women's Soccer Player Maringer Named GSAC Player of the Week
Women’s soccer player Annika Maringer (Asperg, Germany/Gymnasium IB Asperg) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week, for the week ending October 13th. The sophomore winger has helped lead Mercer to its 12th straight win and a top 20 national ranking in the NJCAA Division II National Poll.
Maringer had an assist in the Vikings 4-0 win vs CCBC-Essex last week, Mercer's 13th straight win and a hat trick and assist in Mercer’s 12-0 win vs Sussex CCC, their twelfth straight win.
Maringer continues to be in the right place offensively, to either score or assist on plays and has had great touches and decision-making when she gets the ball.
