Women's Soccer Player Kucharz Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore Laura Kucharz (Singen, Germany/Freidrich Wohler Gymnasium) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for the week ending September 29th.
Kucharz has helped lead MCCC to their tenth straight win. Kucharz has three assists this season including two in Mercer's 4-0 win at Lackawanna last week.
Coach Ron Stinson calls Kucharz "a fantastic leader, who brings a lot of energy and motivates the team. She makes so many runs from defense every game and creates odd man matchups for us. She sets the tone in a lot of really tough situations and never wants to come out of the game, regardless of if she’s playing hurt or not."
