Women's Basketball Player Jones Named GSAC Player of the Week
Freshman women’s basketball player Jayla Jones (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for the week of December 1st-8th.
In addition to scoring 25 points in Mercer's two wins last week, Jones had 16 offensive rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds. Jones has entered the Vikings' starting lineup and had her third straight double double to help MCCC move to 7-2 overall.
